Why Do We Love To Give?
2 Corinthians 9: 6-11 NLT
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.
Where Does The Money Go?
Not only does giving of your money or other resources generate good in the lives of others, it also generates contentment in your heart.
The money that is given to the church gets put to great use. Funds go to building needs (maintenance and up-keeping, utilities, roofing, painting), donations for food to our pantry to support our Feeding program, mission work, youth trips and outreach, yearly Vacation Bible School teaching materials and classes, and toy and clothing drives for community events.
Offline Giving
You can also make donations by Check or Cash. Checks can be written out to "Allen Chapel Riverside". During worship services, checks or cash can be placed in giving envelopes found in the vestibule and at the pew seats, and then placed in the offering baskets.
